Rules
Section 1: Community Conduct & Interpersonal Behaviour
1. Toxicity, Harassment, and Bullying
No toxicity, bullying, or harassment of any kind will be tolerated.
-This includes target-harassment, gaslighting, personal attacks, and behaviour intended to upset others.
-Respect all members, regardless of their background, identities, or playstyles.
-Breaking this rule will result in immediate disciplinary action, up to a permanent ban.
2. Discrimination, Hate Speech, and Slurs
The use of racism, slurs, or discriminatory language of any kind is strictly prohibited.
-This covers hate speech regarding race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.
-This policy applies to text chat, voice chat, item names, signs, and Discord communication.
-Violations carry a zero-tolerance policy and will result in an immediate, permanent ban.
3. Sensitive and Mature Content (NSFW)
Discussion of highly sensitive, explicit, or mature content is forbidden.
-All public text channels, voice channels, and in-game areas must remain safe for work (SFW).
-Sharing NSFW imagery, text, links, or highly graphic real-world topics will result in an immediate mute or ban.
-Trauma dumping to players without their permission is also punishable.
4. Chat Etiquette and Communication
Keep public chat clean, legible, and welcoming for everyone.
-No Spamming: Do not flood the chat with repetitive messages, capital letters, or walls of text.
-No Unnecessary Pinging: Do not tag users or staff members repeatedly without a valid reason.
-Self-Promotion: Do not promote external servers, social media, or Discord links. Content creators should contact staff to have their links added to the dedicated media channel.
-Voice chat: Slurs, hate speech, overly sexual topics or excessive toxicity are not tolerated. Keep your voice volume at a reasonable level.
Section 2: In-Game Lore & Roleplay Etiquette
1. Respecting Player Experiences
Respect how other people choose to play on the server.
-Lore and Roleplay: If you do not participate in character lore, respect those who do.
-Do not interrupt, mock, or ruin active roleplay scenarios.
-Consent: Do not force other players into roleplay or lore events without their explicit, out-of-character (OOC) consent.
Section 3: Gameplay Integrity, Client Mods, & Fair Play
1. Hacking, Cheating, and Unfair Advantages
Any mod-packs, texture packs, shader packs, or custom clients used to gain an unfair gameplay advantage are prohibited.
-Illegal Modifications: Prohibited modifications include, but are not limited to: X-Ray (mods or texture packs), Fly, KillAura, Aimbot, Reach, Speed/Velocity, Auto-Armor, and Auto-Eat.
-Freecam Policy: Freecam is permitted strictly for building and perspective aesthetics. Using freecam to scout for ores, underground structures, or bases constitutes an abuse of the feature and will result in a ban.
Exploits and Item Duplication
2. Abusing bugs or glitches to bypass intentional vanilla mechanics is strictly forbidden.
-Duplication: Any methods used to duplicate items, blocks, or entities will result in an immediate rollback of your data and a permanent ban.
-Unauthorized Items: Obtaining or possessing illegal items (e.g., bedrock, barrier blocks, unauthorized staff items) is prohibited.
3. Automated Farming and Technical Restrictions
To maintain server performance and economic balance, certain automated mechanics are restricted.
-AFK Fishing Farms: Automated or semi-automated AFK fishing setups of any design are completely prohibited.
-Chunk Loaders: The use of custom chunk loaders or mechanics designed to keep chunks permanently loaded while offline is forbidden.
-Autoclickers: The use of an autoclicker is permitted strictly and solely for operating in-game resource or mob farms. Using an autoclicker for combat, movement, or any other gameplay advantage is strictly prohibited.
Section 4: Griefing, Stealing, and Land Claims
1. Property Protection
Griefing, stealing, or damaging another player's builds is strictly prohibited.
-Land Claims: Players are expected to use the server's land claiming system to protect their property.
-Unclaimed Land: In some cases, stealing from or griefing unclaimed builds is still considered a punishable offense if ownership can be proven via server logs.
-Terraforming: Do not deface the natural landscape around other players' claims without permission.
Section 5: Enforcement and Disciplinary Actions
1. Penalty Progression
Failure to adhere to the rules outlined above will result in progressive disciplinary action based on severity.
-First-tier Action: Formal warnings or temporary timeouts/mutes for minor text or chat infractions.
-Second-tier Action: Kicks or jails for moderate offenses, repetitive behaviour, or minor gameplay infractions.
-Third-tier Action: Bans from the Minecraft Server for severe violations. This may include bans from the Discord Server if the ban is permanent.
